photo-eye Bookstore is pleased to host an exhibition and artist’s reception for Kids & Parks: Photographs by Wendy Young and Brandon Soder on Friday, October 8th, 2010 from 5 to 7pm at the photo-eye Bookstore on 370 Garcia Street, Santa Fe, NM. The opening will show Young’s environmental portraits of children from the South, as well as portraits from her series Pondering Jackson. Soder will be showing work from his series Playgrounds At Night. In this series, Soder explores, through long exposures, an absent landscape normally associated with the sounds and activity of children.
